How to Plan Your Holiday Party

The holiday season is already sneaking up on us, and it’s time to get that holiday party on the books. If you’re pulling off an in-office party complete with décor & games or planning an offsite party with a DJ & photo booth there are plenty of fun, creative ideas to choose from.
Before you nail down the details, choose a date that works for as many staff members as possible, and start planning early. Once you have decided what day you’ll have the party send out the invitation email. Involve your team members in the planning, don’t go it alone and remember your remote workers.
If you haven’t decided on an offsite vs. in-office holiday party yet, look at your budget for the event, and list the pros and cons for both options. For example, do you have a large enough budget to book an event venue? Having a in-office party can be less expensive but serving alcohol at the office can be challenging. Figuring out your budget and what is most important to your team can guide you in this decision.
If you’re having an offsite party, then book your location. Upper Larimer, Moss, Blanc, Willow Ridge Manor, and Highlands Ranch Mansion are just a few of our favorites.
Book your corporate catering: Hands down…Rocky Mountain Catering + Events is the one & only best catering in Denver.
Planners can assist you in a variety of ways, and we love… Poised Events, Sugar Willow, Table 6, Sapphire Celebrations, and Erica Whatley Events.
Arrange transportation for your team: A shuttle service, bus, or even credits towards an Uber or Lyft are fantastic options. We recommend Diamond Elite Transportation, Elevate Rides or 303 Party Bus.
Give yourself some lead time to book your DJ and any party entertainment. We hear these are some of Denver’s favorites: Groovx Events, DJ Connection, A Music Plus Entertainment, or DJ Maestro.
Plan an interactive activity. A traditional photo booth, fancy VR set, Karaoke, Murder Mystery…something besides drinking to entertain your team members is always a WIN! Check out The Murder Mystery Company, Hipstr, Joy Squad, Elite Entertainment or Mile High Party Pics.
