What would your work nickname be?

The Magician…pulling rabbit’s out of my hat and having team members appear out of nowhere are kind of my specialty.

Where were you born and raised? If not Colorado, what brought you here?

I was born and raised in Colorado on the western slope. I have moved away a few times (New York, Florida, Texas, India and Guatemala) but came back as soon as I could! I am a Colorado soul, and this is home!

When did you join Rocky Mountain Catering & Events, and in what position did you start?

I started on the service staff in 2021 and fell in love with the company culture. One day I was helping in the pastry department for some extra hours and ended up in a conversation with the GM about my extensive background in catering. Not long after that I was asked to apply and interview for the staffing manager position, and I got it! I have been in the position since February of 2022.

What inspires you?

Amazing food, excellent company, a good book and planning time away in the mountains.

When not at work, what are you doing?

I enjoy spending time with my dog Sammy, traveling, cooking at home for friends, or reading a great book with a nice cup of tea.

What is your favorite food? RMC Food?

My favorite meal is a ribeye steak with asparagus that has been sauteed in garlic and butter. Include a nice glass of red wine and I am in my happy place! RMC food: The desserts of course! I love all the small tarts, chocolate bites and petite key lime cups. I don’t think I can pick a favorite!
