Abbie & Joel's Garden Wedding

A stunning wedding celebration of love held in a beautiful rustic log cabin at Hudson Gardens where the logs added a charming warmth to the overall atmosphere.

Abbie looked beautiful in her stunning white lace dress, adorned with puffed sleeves and intricate detailing. Joel complemented her elegance in a unique blue jacket with a long tail and a tapestry vest, giving off an enchanting, time-traveling vibe with a hint of European flair. Their choice of attire was unconventional yet captivating, marked by Joel’s blue tie and gold clip.

The flowers were a rich array of burgundies, deep reds, greens, and soft purples, with blueberry accents woven into her bouquet, embodying a soft vintage feel.

For the cake-cutting ceremony, they brought a saber, adding an adventurous touch as Joel sliced through the beautiful three-tiered white cake, accented with silver and surrounded by rustic leaves and candlelit books. This wedding beautifully blended tradition with uniqueness, creating unforgettable memories.

The Menu

The evening’s culinary journey began with a pre-plated Greek Salad of crisp romaine, marinated olives, fresh cucumbers, juicy grape tomatoes, and tangy feta, all dressed in a refreshing Greek vinaigrette.

The appetizer featured creamy hummus, zesty quinoa tabouli, crisp pickled vegetables, marinated feta, savory olives, and delicate stuffed grape leaves. Served alongside were warm pita chips.

For the main fare, guests indulged in a Mediterranean Bar Buffet that included their choice of grilled Baja Fish or tender Mahi Mahi, accompanies by warm pita and a smooth house-made tzatziki sauce, Butternut Orzo, skillfully tossed with fresh herbs and hearty Spanish Rice.

For those preferring a vegetarian option, the Stuffed Poblano was a standout. It boasted a rich curried carrot sauce and was thoughtfully filled with roasted sweet potatoes, corn, black beans, and ripe tomatoes, beautifully showcasing the essence of the season’s harvest.

The whimsical Build Your Own S’mores Station added an element of fun, inviting guests to craft their own sweet creations, a delightful tribute to childhood memories set against the backdrop of the rustic venue.
