What would your work nickname be?

My work nick name is Justin Case. I will ask too many questions and do everything I can to be extra prepared… Just in Case.

Where were you born and raised? If not Colorado, what brought you here?

I am a 3rd generation Coloradoan and will never leave. Unless it’s for vacation, of course!

When did you join Rocky Mountain Catering & Events, and in what position did you start?

I joined RMC as an Event Coordinator in 2022 and was immersed in an extensive training program that took me through all the different jobs it takes to pull an event together. I served, captained, back captained, attended every training class that is offered, coordinated, and worked hard to gain the knowledge to take the next step. I was promoted to my current role as Event Designer at the start of 2023.

What is the favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is how easily it clicks in my brain. I’ve never had anything make as much sense to me in my life as this job does. I love when I’m quickly able to grasp my clients’ vision and see it for myself in my head.

What inspires you?

My coworkers and other vendors inspire me so much in this industry. This industry is very difficult and constantly evolving so I find solace in being able to lean on those around me, even with those who aren’t RMC team members. There is so much to learn, not only from those within our company but also the planners, bartenders, venues, DJ’s, florist’s that we work with. Though, I’m not sure the beverage burros offer much wisdom, but they sure are cute to work with!

When not at work, what are you doing?

When I’m not at work, I love to either be with my family or taking some alone time with my dog, Indiana Jones, and my cat, Titus. I have a large family and a busy job so I’ll take the alone time when I can get it. I love snuggling with my pets on the couch with a warm blanket straight out of the dryer and a classic horror movie playing.

What is your favorite food? RMC Food?

My favorite food of all time is Pho but I can be a little picky when it comes to local spots (let me know if you need recommendations!). My perfect RMC menu is: Beet Salad, Au Gratin Potatoes, Seasonal Grilled Vegetables, Pear & Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken, and Madeira Braised Short Ribs. Now I'm hungry…I need to go see what the Chefs are cooking!
